Creekside Charter Adventure Pods
Dear Creekside Families,
Your kids need time outside in nature away from their screens and with their peers. You need time off from supporting virtual learning, to relax and to focus on your life. Join us every Friday through November 20th for Gateway Mountain Center’s Creekside Adventure Pods!
Who: Creekside Charter Students (TK – 2nd) (3rd – 5th) (6th – 8th)

How are you monitoring the smoke / air quality?
We use IQAir to evaluate the quality of the air. If the AQI is over 150 we will cancel a session. We will make the determination to cancel the day before based on predictions from IQAir.
What is your refund / cancellation policy?
In the event of unhealthy smoke or inclement weather, families will receive notice 24 hrs before the scheduled programming and will receive 100% refund. If you are unable to attend a program and notify firstname.lastname@example.org with more than 24 hrs notice, we will provide a 100% refund for that session
How do I apply for scholarship?
We are advocates for increasing the equity of access to nature and social support for youth of all backgrounds and are offering scholarships for families in need. If you would like to receive a scholarship to attend this program, please contact email@example.com to request a discount code.
What are your COVID Policies?
Similar to our popular Camp Sugar Bowl, Adventure Pods will observe the best COVID-19 policies from the CDC and American Camps Association to keep your family safe. Face covering will be utilized at all times six feet of social distancing cannot be enforced (in vehicles, at crowded trailheads, etc.) Our engaging youth games and activities have all been modified to be Covid Compliant. Otherwise, face coverings are allowed to come off and we can breathe deeply. Our guide’s have been trained to teach proper respiratory hygiene and regular hand sanitization.
How will we receive updates and communicate with guides?
Please install the moment app on your phone (iPhone) (Android) to receive updates. When you register through Moment, you will be prompted to provide your cell phone and email.
How is transportation going to work?
Initially the pickup / drop off location will be at the Creekside Parking Lot. However, as groups are formed, we will cluster pods based on home address and will start programs closer to where families live. If pods plan to do activities away from the pickup/ drop off location, Gateway Mountain Center will use our transport vehicles. For our littlest ones, we do have a limited amount of booster and car seats and ask parents to drop off their own if they want.
