Mountain Biking Camp

Mountain Biking Camp

Level Up Your Riding This Summer!

EXPERIENCE ALL THAT TRUCKEE HAS TO OFFER MOUNTAIN BIKERS!

We offer personalized instruction from expert, credentialed guides within a supportive group setting. Newer bikers learn fundamental skills of bike control; while experienced riders push their limits and learn advanced biking techniques. We will explore the Truckee Bike Park, classic Truckee trail rides, including the new Big Chief Trail and lift-served downhill riding at Northstar. Many of our guides are world class bikers. These are overnight camps; we lodge at the historic Oakland Ski Club on Donner Summit. The camaraderie, games and evening storytelling are classic.  Enjoy BIG SUMMER DAYS of mountain biking, swimming in alpine lakes, and shooting the rapids of the “Truckee” on our whitewater rafting rest day.

COVID-19 Information

Gateway Mountain Center was one of the only organizations to successfully run summer camps for over 150 campers in 2020.  With the highest standards of precaution and best practices provided by federal, state and local authorities, we met and exceeded standards set by the Center for Disease Control and the American Camps Association, keeping our campers and staff COVID free.  Though we are hopeful conditions will improve for Summer 2021, we are experienced and ready to keep you and your family as safe as possible.
