Climbing Camps

Climbing Camp
Now in our 14th season!

With personalized instruction within a supportive group setting, new climbers learn fundamental skills of movement and rope management; while experienced climbers push their limits on hard climbs, explore rock protection, and learn advanced rope systems.

Many of our expert, credentialed guides are world-class mountaineers with first ascents or world records. These are overnight camps. Camps 1 & 2 stay at the historic Oakland Ski Club, right on Donner Summit only minutes away from great climbing. Camp 3 travels to the Eastern Sierra and stay at French Camp, just south of Mammoth. The camaraderie, games and evening storytelling around the campfire are classic. Enjoy BIG SUMMER DAYS of climbing, swimming in alpine lakes, and making lifelong friends.
